Division 03 — Labs
Where work begins before it has a name.
Labs is the part of Avintheria that is allowed to be uncertain. It holds early experiments, prototypes and questions that do not yet belong to Intelligence or Space — and may never leave the bench.
Purpose
Most useful research starts as something that would not survive a roadmap review. Labs exists so that work can be taken seriously before it can be justified, and abandoned without ceremony when it does not hold up.
Anything here is unproven by definition. Some of it will move into a division. Most of it will not, and that is the point.

Human longevity
Ageing as an information problem rather than an inevitability. Early reading and open questions, no experimental work.
Tools for thinking
Software that changes how a person holds a problem in their head — memory, perception and recall as an interface rather than a feature.
Perception systems
Prototypes that observe, build context over time, and answer questions about what they have seen. The seed of the memory work in Intelligence.
Unfiled
Work with no category yet. It stays here until it earns one or is dropped.
Status
Exploratory. Nothing in Labs is a commitment, a product, or a claim about what is achievable.
